Nurseries News Round-Up – Week 21

Your weekly round-up of news from around our wonderful Golden Apples Family nurseries is here!

SPLAT’S AMAZING!

The Anchor, Huntingdon

We had the most amazing week of art-based fun at the Anchor. We collected natural resources such as feathers, leaves and sticks from our forest to then create beautiful some paintings.

Finally, we learnt to make a Jackson Pollock painting – which is now on proud display in our garden. Amazing work, kids!

SUPER BABIES!

Bluebell, Eltisley

We’ve been busy as usual at Bluebell in the baby room – playing with rosemary and mint on the table and using water from the paddling pool after swimming to clean the playhouse.

GOOD SPORTS!

The Beacon, Rendlesham

Sports Day fun took over at the Beacon! The children had a wonderful time, taking part in some brilliant physical challenges in the glorious sunshine.

GRAD’S HOW IT’S DONE!

Head Start, Ramsey

What a fantastic week at Head start Nursery, with lots of celebrations. First, we marked Independence Day on 4 July – then we had our amazing school leavers graduation party with delicious food and fun games like Pass the Parcel.

Our books of the week went down a treat, with lots of activities taking place alongside the reading. The sun was shining, so of course we had lots of water play too!
