The Anchor Day Nursery & Preschool provides high‑quality care for children aged three months to five years, making the most of its stunning rural setting and the freedom it brings.

Indoors, the nursery is a caring, engaging and spotlessly clean environment, thoughtfully arranged to support learning through play at every stage. Our Aurora Room offers a calm and nurturing space for babies, with gentle natural touches that help little ones feel safe and settled. As children grow, they move into the lively Hurly Room, where toddlers enjoy cosy reading tipis, sensory play, and their own outdoor arena designed for hands‑on exploration. Pre‑schoolers thrive in the exciting Admirals Lounge, complete with creative messy areas, stimulating tuff trays, a partly‑covered outdoor play zone and a much‑loved wooden sailing boat that inspires endless imaginative adventures.

Outside, children have the freedom to explore, be spontaneous and go on adventures, with the countryside itself becoming an extension of their learning. Our stunning forest area offers opportunities for den building, tyre swings and embracing the outdoor life that is so important for children’s confidence, independence and development.
